Know About Lord Rama- 

Lord Rama is considered the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who took on human form and came to Earth to establish justice and dharma. He is revered across the globe and is considered unparalleled for his compassion, courage, and commitment to religious duties and ideals. The epic Ramayana having more than 100 versions narrates the story of Lord Rama, his turmoils, and his victory over the evil king Ravana. Through the narrative, he is established as the epitome of integrity and selflessness.

 

Types of Lord Rama statues- 

There are different types of statues of Lord Rama made of different materials. The most significant and popular image is of Lord Rama standing in the Samabhanga (erect) posture holding his bow the Kodanda. He displays a calm demeanor with a peaceful smile. There is another famous depiction of Ram Darbar where he is surrounded by his brothers, Lord Lakshman and Bharat, and accompanied by his wife Goddess Sita, Lord Hanuman is seen offering reverence to him, sitting near his feet. The statues are made of Brass, Bronze, Copper, Wood, and Stone, holding special significance according to their compositional properties.

 

Significance of Lord Rama's Statues- 

Lord Rama has long been considered to be the protector of people who abide by righteousness. Placing his statue at home reminds us to stay honest and follow his teachings of fearlessness and hard work. His image as the newly coronated king in the Rama Darbar is considered to bring familial bliss and people prefer placing the statues and paintings of the same at their homes. His statue where he stands as the young Rama Lalla has been revered and believed to bring the blessings of progeny to people. His statue of an adult Lord Rama is worshipped by his devotees to get the blessings of fearlessness and humility.
