Know About Shri Venkateswara Balaji -
Lord Balaji, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, has a supremely revered place, especially in South India, where he is worshiped in a grand Tirupati Balaji temple located in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh, which is one of India's most impressive temples. Devotees go to seek blessings at the temple, which is known for its grandeur and spiritual significance. This Lord Vishnu avatar is thought to defend against Kaliyuga's misdeeds. The temple is also known as the Kaliyuga Vaikuntham.
Types of Shri Venkateswara Balaji Statues-
Lord Venkateswara is predominantly depicted in the traditional stance where he stands under an elaborate Kirthimukha arch. He is depicted with four hands where his upper hands hold the Conch (Panchajanya) and Discus (Sudarshan Chakra) the lower left hand in the Katihasta stance and the right hand is positioned in the Varada Mudra. All the Tirupati Balaji statues irrespective of the material used whether it's Brass, Bronze, Copper, Wood, or Stone have the same iconography and almost the same ornamentation of the body of the deity. He is also shown standing on a lotus pedestal that symbolizes his patronage over wisdom.
