The Medicine Guru Buddha, also known as Vaidurya Prabha Raja or the 'King of Sapphire Light,' is depicted in a deep blue hue. With a single face and two hands, he holds a myrobalan fruit (haritaki) in his right hand, while his left hand rests in a meditative pose, cradling a begging bowl.
Clad in vibrant copper and gold robes symbolic of a fully ordained monk, his left arm is concealed. Seated in the vajra posture on a lotus and an ornate lion-supported throne with a backrest, he exudes the aspect of a fully enlightened Buddha in his nirmanakaya form. Flanking Medicine Buddhas are his primary bodhisattva attendants, standing as symbols of reverence and support.
