Dhokra, also known as bell metal craft, is a traditional art form practised by Ojha metal smiths in areas like Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, and Telangana. The ancient Dhokra process created this Tribal Kalash-style incense burner or storage box. It has a green patina appearance and an old-world charm. The container is large and deep, and it may be used as a jewellery box. The presence of delicate lines, typical of Dhokra artefacts, adds to the box's attractiveness. The Kalash structure on top of the box, together with designs akin to Amra Pallav or mango leaves, give this box a holy image and make it an ideal object for ceremonial areas.
